Description • Application: As part of commissioning and repeat testing of grid-connected photovoltaic systems according to VDE 0126-23 (DIN EN 62446), polarity tests, open-circuit voltages and short-circuit current measurements of parallel-connected PV strings can be carried out, stored and documented safely and efficiently up to 1500 V/40 A. • General measurement functions: - Polarity check of the PV generator/PV wiring - No-load voltage measurement for modern 1500 V DC systems - Short-circuit current measurement on PV strings up to 40 A DC - Solar radiation (W/m²) and PV module/ambient temperature (°C) via Benning SUN 2 (order no.: 70 128 24) • Performance features: - Automatic test sequence (+/-, Vo/c, ls/c, W/m², °C) with reverse polarity protection - Powerful short-circuit current measurement, up to 4 x greater reserve than usual PV testers with 10 A limit - Reduced testing times and disassembly work, as PV strings no longer have to be separated individually and tested one after the other - Reduces the risk of failure due to overload when testing PV strings of unknown power - Real-time clock with date and time stamp per measurement • Display: graphic display (illuminated) • Polarity test: automatic • Open-circuit voltage (Uo/c): 5-1500 V • Resolution/accuracy: max. 0.1 V/± (1% + 2 digit) • With radio connection (433 Mhz) to Benning SUN 2 - Solar radiation: 100-1250 W/m² - PV module/ambient temp: -30 to 125 °C • Measurement value storage: 999 measurement values/PV strings • Interface: USB Type B • PC program/data format: BENNING SOLAR Datalogger/CSV • Delivery contents: - 3 x 3.7 V 18650 Li-Ion batteries - Hard-shell case IP64 - PV test lead set (MC4) - Measuring cable set with test probes and crocodile clamps - Charger - Calibration certificate Technical data
