Description of hygroscopic cap:
The ventilators 90 046 57/58, 90 035 05 and 90 601 44 are equipped with a hygroscopic safety cap. This is provided with cellulose fibre discs, which swell upon contact with water and close the valve. This prevents possible water leakage and the resulting damages.

• For self-sealing fittings, no additional sealing material (hemp, Teflon tape) may be used!
