Description Immersion thermostat model series ATH Controlling thermostats and monitoring thermal processes. ATH model range devices are available as temperature controllers TR, temperature limiters TW, safety temperature monitors STW (STB) and safety temperature limiters STB. In the event of any faults, the STB puts the monitored system into a reliable state. • Setup thermostats work according to the principle of fluid expansion; a micro switch is used as switching element. Self-monitoring with the safety temperature limiter STB and the safety temperature monitor STW (STB) If the measuring systems is destroyed, i.e if the expansion liquid escapes, the pressure in the diaphragm drops with the STB and STW (STB), and the circuit remains open. Unlocking is no longer possible. When the sensor cools to a temperature under approx. -20°C, the circuit is also opened, when the temperature rises above approx. -20°C, the STB must first be unlocked manually via a re-activation button. STW (STB) reactivation takes place automatically. Reactivation lock with safety temperature limiter STB If the pending temperature exceeds the set limit value on the temperature sensor, the circuit is opened and the micro switch is mechanically locked. Once the critical temperature remains lower that approx. 10% of the scale range (approx. 15% with a limit value setting > +350°C), the micro switch can be unlocked manually. • Screw connection with counter nut M 18 x 1 and long-distance cable outlet on housing spigot • Long-distance cable: 1000 mm. • Sensor: 6 x 107 mm • Switching differential: 3-4% • Max. switching current: AC 230 V/10 amp. • Control range: 0-100 °C Technical data
