Pellet stove – flexible and convenient
|
Pellet stoves differ from fireplaces in the
fuel they use and the comfort they offer. Instead of logs, pellets (pressed pellets with a size between 20 and 50 mm) are burned. These pellets are made from wood waste (residual wood, chips, etc.) making them particularly environmentally friendly.
|
The fuel is stored in a storage tank integrated in the stove. The pellets are then transported from there to a firing trough automatically as required. The stove only selects as many pellets as are needed. An ignition wire ignites the pellets and the stove heats up. An integrated flue gas fan supplies the fresh air required for the combustion process as required.
This process produces very little ash and the combustion is CO2 neutral. An electronically controlled mechanism makes automatic operation possible. There are different control options depending on the stove variant. The stove can be switched on and off automatically via the display on the stove, remote control or a smartphone app. The user just has to make sure that the storage tank is always sufficiently filled. This creates flexibility and maximum comfort.
