Serto - Elbow swivel coupling SO 8mm x 1/8"

The Serto angle swivel fitting has a 1/8 inch external thread and a compression fitting. It can be used universally for various liquids, non-aggressive oils and gases. The compression fitting can accept tubes with an 8 mm outside diameter. The fitting body is made of brass with a treated surface. A swivel screw joint consists of a ring connection piece which fits a hollow screw. The compact design of the fitting allows the component to be installed in confined spaces. The Serto brass angle screw connection has many uses, for example, it can be used as a connection accessory for oil flow meters. Before installation, the pipe end must be cut to length at a right angle and cleanly deburred. The pipe can then be precisely inserted into the screw connection. The connection nut is first screwed on by hand until a stop is felt and then tightened according to specification. A suitable support sleeve may be required for thin-walled or soft pipes. The compact size of this component allows it to be quickly and simply assembled.
