Angle valves, combination angle valves and device connection valves provide the connection between the pipe installation and the tapping point or the connected device.
In general, all these valves allow the water supply to be interrupted and can also be used to regulate the flow rate. There are different types of valve such as:
Angle valve:
- Connecting the outlet fitting to the washbasin / kitchen sink
- Connecting the outlet fitting to surface-mounted cisterns
- Design angle valve for visible areas
Device connection valve:
- Connecting dishwashers / washing machines
- Interrupting water supply
An appliance connection valve has an external thread that can be screwed into a corresponding pipe connection
in the wall.
There is often no separate connection for a dishwasher or washing machine.
The combination of appliance connection valve and angle valve makes it possible to retrofit this kind of connection
in the kitchen or bathroom:
- Replace the existing angle valve with a combi angle valve
- It can then be connected with a screw connection
Combi angle valve:
- Integrated backflow preventer
- Integrated tube aerator
This prevents polluted service water from being sucked back out of a connected appliance.
