Description • For producing precision 45° single flares on soft copper pipes • No reduction in wall thickness • Spring-loaded friction clutch • Controlled widening and rolling of tube end with no cracking • Flanging cone eccentrically guided in needle bearings • No slipping of the tube • Die made of forged steel, self-centring Delivery contents: • Metric template: 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 14 - 15 - 16 - 18 mm • Imperial template: DN 6 - DN 20 (⅛” - 3/16” - ¼” - 5/16” - ⅜” - ½” - ⅝” - ¾”) • In plastic case The Rothenberger wobble flaring tool was developed to be able to flare pipes very gently. Copper tubes can be easily worked by hand without reducing the wall thickness. The exchangeable die makes it easy to switch between metric and inch, depending on the application. The pipe end is simply inserted into the corresponding recess in the die for flaring and shaped by turning the hand lever. When fully formed, an integrated friction clutch engages, effectively preventing unintentional cracking of the pipe. The Rothenberger wobble flaring tool is supplied complete with two forged steel flaring dies, making it suitable for metric and imperial applications. A practical plastic case is also included.
