immediately available Description Air in solar fluids The viscosity of liquids that contain glycol is significantly higher than water. Depending on the concentration of the liquid, air bubbles require several hours to rise to the surface. Air bubbles trapped in the liquid therefore remain in the volume flow and pass through the entire system. The consequence: problems with circulation, heat transfer and corrosion. The little air bubbles are forced to rise by the fixed resistors in the spiral pipe. Installation must not be at the highest point but directly on the solar flow pipe. Temperature: max. 180°C Operating pressure: max. 10 bar Housing: brass ”AutoClose” This design also offers differentiation between air and steam, and automatically closes when the evaporation temperature is reached. Effectively keeps solar systems consistently air-free. Advantages: • No stagnation caused by steam emission • No fluid loss • No premature decomposition of the solar fluid • Continuously air-free system with optimum performance See catalogue
