Description • For sealing masonry openings for gas pipes, water pipes, drainage pipes and cables against pressing and non-pressing water • 40 mm NBR sealing element for pressure tightness up to 1.5 bar • Thrust washers, closed, made of V2A • The “onion ring technology” allows a variable internal diameter • The sealing area can be produced in 5 mm increments by removing/trimming a seal insert Wall guides made of NBR are used to seal supply and disposal lines which are led through a core bore, a wall sleeve or through a casing pipe. The bushing in the form of a ring seal can be used as a single bushing for cables, sewage pipes and gas and water pipes. It can be used for both pressurised and non-pressurised water and provides a reliable seal. In addition, it is also possible to seal a wall guide that is installed later, for example when new gas pipes are installed in a house. The seal between the cable or service pipe and the wall bore is carried out according to the ring space principle by tightening the nuts. Pressure plates made of stainless steel V2A ensure an even contact pressure. In this way the wall duct can be sealed in a simple manner. The variable inner diameter means that the wall ducts can be used for a wide range of pipes and cables. Depending on requirements, one or more sealing inserts can be removed to adapt the wall guide. This type of sealing element is therefore also called an onion ring seal. The seal area of the wall duct can be selected as required in 5 mm steps. The sealing element can be adapted to the respective requirements directly on site using the specified rings. This avoids the need for time-consuming remeasurement and the sealing element no longer needs to be laboriously machined. See catalogue
